Function mapping a (vertex, value) point to a field.

Parameters:
gFunction

Function g: \Rset^n \times \Rset^d \rightarrow \Rset^{d'}.

meshMesh

Mesh of the output field in \Rset^n.

Notes

A VertexValuePointToFieldFunction function acts on points to produce fields:

            \vect{x} & \mapsto & F(\vect{x})
          \end{array} \right.

with \cM_{N} a mesh of \cD' \subset \Rset^{n} and F(\vect{x}) a field sharing this mesh.

The field F(\vect{x}) is defined from a function g: \Rset^n \times \Rset^d \rightarrow \Rset^{d'} as:

F(\vect{x}) & = (\vect{t}_i, \vect{v}_i)_{1 \leq i \leq N} \quad \mbox{with} \quad
\vect{t}_i \in \cM_{N}, \, \vect{v}_i = g(\vect{t}_i, \vect{x})

When g is not specified, the constructor builds an object which evaluation operator is not defined (it throws a NotYetImplementedException). The instantiation of such an object is used to extract an actual VertexValuePointToFieldFunction from a Study.

Create a function g : \Rset \times \Rset \rightarrow \Rset such as:

Accessor to the object’s name.
