Inverse of the incomplete Gamma function with respect to x.

IncompleteGammaInverse(a, x) = \gamma^{-1}(a, x)

Parameters:
afloat \in \Rset^*_+
xfloat
tailbool, optional

By default, tail is False.

Returns:
resultfloat
  • If tail is False: result = \mathrm{P}^{-1}(a, x/\Gamma(a)).

  • If tail is True: result = \mathrm{P}^{-1}(a, (1-x)/\Gamma(a)).
